The film is directed by Stephen Sommers the man responsible for bringing us such movies as The Mummy and Van Helsing and my personal favorite Deep Rising.

The cast for this film includes Dennis Quaid, Rachel Nichols, Arnold Vosloo and Sienna Miller.  The plot is that an international force of operatives use high-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an organization headed by a Scottish arms dealer.  How original!!

The movie did ok at the box office with a worldwide gross of $301 million dollars, it's been confirmed a sequel is being made.

Shame it sucks so much.
