Gone With The Wind was made in 1939 and is a classic love story set against the backdrop of the American civil war, when you adjust for inflation it is the biggest box office hit of all time.

Sam Raimi has always had a great eye for visuals and Drag Me To Hell has some impressive moments, i particularly enjoyed the goat scene, it’s clear that Raimi loves the horror genre. The end titles feature Lalo Schifrin’s unused score for The Exorcist, its called The Exorcist Symphony.

I sometimes wonder if they have a computer churning out these scripts on a daily basis and then some scriptwriter comes along and touches the screenplay up, so many films seem to have high concept idea’s but someone forgets that dialogue and likeable characters who you care for are needed
