Double oscar winner Hilary Swank's new movie is currently playing at cinema's across America and due to open around the world soon.

The film centres around the life of the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic and who disappeared mysteriously while attempting to fly across the Pacific.

The film also stars Richard Gere as her husband and Ewan McGregor as her lover Gene Vidal.

The film cost $40 million dollars to make.

Despite the investment in the film it has so far only made around $10 million dollars at the North American box office. 

Swank's performance has been praised but no Oscar this time. It seems Ewan McGregor is currently a curse for any film out to make money.
