Resident Evil: Afterlife is the fourth movie of the popular zombie series and it opens in September, it was made using the Pace Fusion 3D camera system which was used to such good effect on Avatar. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice.

The new version of Piranha has an underwater volcanic tremor causing the earth to open up and large numbers of prehistoric piranha are unleashed, these piranha’s have no problem with biting off more than they can chew.

Movies already out at cinema’s in 3D include Toy Story 1 and 2 with Toy Story 3 to follow this summer. George Lucas has already announced his plans to re-release all six Star Wars films in 3D.

My Bloody Valentine 3D also has a 2D option on the Blu Ray disc but i see no point in watching this film in anything other than the original 3D format.

Avatar is directed by James Cameron and features a music score by James Horner and stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi and Sigourney Weaver.

Blu Ray Film Review of My Bloody Valentine 3D – There is a cave in at a small town mining company and five people are found dead. One miner is found alive and in a comatose state and his name is Harry Warden. Evidence recovered at the scene suggests that Harry went mad and killed the five miners found dead. Cue one year later and Harry wakes up from his coma and the local law enforcement finds a hospital massacre. Harry returns to the mine to find a group of partying teenagers and kills them one by one. Has Harry returned from the dead or is this a copycat killer. Where’s the Scooby Doo gang when you need them!!
