Disc 3 of Lost comprises of episodes 8 to 11 and takes us past the halfway mark in the final season of the show, episode 8 tells the story of Richard and why he appears to not ever age, it’s one of the best made episodes of the series, beautifully filmed and well acted.

HD Comparisons – King Kong. (1933) The dvd edition of King Kong was zoomed in and the blu ray shows more of the image, some pops and speckles and hairs on the print have been fixed and i imagine Warner had someone doing scratch removal by hand.

Disc 2 of Lost comprises of episodes 4 to 7, we find out a few more secrets about the island and Claire shows a darker side to her character, there is also a fabulous scene of the smoke monster attacking the temple.

I am getting pretty excited about a new film called The Raven which will be based on Edgar Allen Poe and his pursuit of a serial killer who murders people in a similiar fashion to the writer’s stories, John Cusack will play Edgar Allen Poe.

Paramount are thought to be seeking to reboot the franchise and have cast Jeremy Renner as a younger agent and part of Hunt’s ( Cruise’s) team, the thinking is that Paramount see Renner as an ideal future replacement for Cruise.

In Season 5 of Lost we were introduced to time travel, i felt the season was weaker because of this, i didn’t much care for this aspect of the show but the characters were still worth watching and i still enjoyed the show. Season Six finally reveals what the smoke monster is.
