The Losers is about a special forces unit which is sent on a mission into the jungles of Bolivia but end up being betrayed by someone on the inside.
The unit find out they are believed dead so they decide to seek revenge, they are aided by an undercover female operative known only as Aisha but meanwhile, Max who is the person who set them up wants to embroil the world in a high tech global war, will the Losers get their revenge and save the world, if you are in North America find out as its now playing at cinemas, if you are from Europe there is a short wait as the film opens at the end of May.
The plot sounds like a hundred other movies but the cast is interesting, Zoe Saldana plays Aisha while Chris Evans is Jensen, other cast members include Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Clay and Jason Patric as Max.
Zoe Saldana has been building up an impressive amount of film work lately with more to follow.

The director of The Losers is Sylvain White, at this point you may be asking who as he is not that well known a director, his last two films were I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer and Stomp The Yard, not exactly classics and it doesn't fill me with confidence that he is directing this film but he has gained experience and with a good script he may well do a great job on this film.
The Losers has a PG-13 certificate which means they have to hold back on the amount of violence they can use, PG-13 is seen as more commercial than an R certificate though.
It has opened at number four at the box office in America which isn't a good sign but the production budget was only $25m dollars so it will probably make its money back when you include overseas revenue and DVD and Blu Ray rentals and sales.
