Rachel Weisz was born in London on the 7th of March 1970 and her star sign is Pisces.
Miss Weisz began acting while studying at Cambridge University, she formed a theatre group called Talking Tongues which won the Guardian award at the 1991 Edinburgh festival for stage play Washbag.
In 1994 the London Critics Circle awarded her the most promising newcomer award for the Noel Coward play Design For Living. Her last name is pronounced vice and Rachel won an Oscar in 2006 for best supporting actress in The Constant Gardener.
Early roles included parts in British tv series Inspector Morse and the mini series The Scarlet and the Black.
Her first movie roles were in Death Machine and Bernardo Bertolucci's Stealing Beauty but it wasn't long before bigger parts followed in films such as Chain Reaction, Swept From The Sea, The Land Girls and I Want You.
In 1999 Rachel became an international sensation after playing Evelyn in The Mummy.
Other notable films include Sunshine, Beautiful Creatures, Runaway Jury, Constantine, The Fountain, Agora and The Lovely Bones. She also reprised her role of Evelyn ( Evie ) for The Mummy Returns and played the voice of a dragon in the enjoyable Eragon.
Future films include The Whistleblower, Dreamhouse and Unbound Captives.
