Scarlett Johansson was born on the 22nd of November 1984 and her star sign is Sagittarius.
Scarlett's film career began as a child when she was just ten years old in the 1994 film North which was directed by Rob Reiner.
Further acting roles in Just Cause, If Lucy Fell, Fall and Home Alone 3 followed but it was her role in Robert Redford's The Horse Whisperer which earned her rave reviews and ensured her of a future as an actress in the film industry.
She won The Hollywood Reporter young star award for The Horse Whisperer and also won a BAFTA award for Lost In Translation.
Miss Johansson's other notable films include Eight Legged Freaks, Girl With A Pearl Earring, The Island and The Prestige.
On the 27th of September 2008 Scarlett married fellow actor Ryan Reynolds.
She will next be seen in iron Man 2 playing Natasha Romanoff aka The Black Widow which is a role she will reprise in The Avengers due to be released in 2012.
