Sean Connery was a bodybuilder before taking up acting, he had brawn and brains, Craig isn’t a Schwarzenneger and doesn’t have that many muscles, i think he has so far been a fine Bond.

The trouble with Bond movies is the scripts get more silly the longer the actor stays in the role, if they can resist the temptation to put in too many gadgets, CGI and keep the next film grounded then i feel it will be a better film.

I still don’t think that Daniel Craig is a good James Bond, as he just looks like a guy with a lot of muscles and nothing in the brain. James Bond is all brain and doesn’t have any muscles.

Personally i enjoyed it a lot but then i’m not a religious person and have never read any of the books. I understand those who are religious and have read the books got upset about this film but i cannot relate to that and i viewed the film purely on an entertainment level.

It has very good acting, i thought the effects work and set design were excellent and the music score and sound mix is superb.

It’s a shame that some sections of this Blu Ray release have clearly had DNR applied although i believe other sections of the movie escaped the use of noise reduction.

I would recommend the film if you have a good imagination and are able to escape into a fantasy world without thinking about why the polar bears talk or wondering if they drink Coca Cola, if you can just sit back and let yourself be drawn into the world that this film inhabits then i believe it will entertain you.

I personally loved the film.
