Liv Tyler is the daughter of Steven Tyler from the band Aerosmith. She was named after actress Liv Ullman and the name means life in Norwegian.
Liv has never had acting lessons and started out as a model before getting her first movie role in Silent Fall.
She learned sword fighting for the Lord Of The Rings trilogy but never actually got to use her new found skills as the script was re-written.
Liv stole the show from more experienced actors in Stealing Beauty and was perfectly cast in Armageddon and One Night At McCool's.
